非谓语动词做后置定语

【知识点】

非谓语：在复合句中，动词的非谓语三种形式来做名词的后置定语。

三种形式：

（一）：V-ing，与前面名词主动关系

（二）：V-ed，与前面名词被动关系

（三）: To do 不定式，与前面名词关系（表将来或表目的）

主要考查：

不定式、现在分词和过去分词都可以作定语，主要区别在于它们的时态意义和语态意义不同。一般来说，不定式表示将来意义，用于表示尚未发生的动作；现在分词表示其逻辑主语主动发出的动作，并含有进行意义；而过去分词表示的是其逻辑主语的被动和完成的动作。

主要思想方法：

非谓语做定语，其逻辑主语就是所修饰的名词。通过判断分词和逻辑主语的关系来选择分词。

考查形式：语法填空，短文改错

例句分析：

1.（2021四川成都英语试卷）It is hard for people to move forward with a strong wind_____hard.

A. blown     B. blowing   C. to blow

答案解析：选B. 在此句中，主句不缺成分，在with的复合结构中，blow 与前面名词wind是主动关系，所以用非谓语的V-ing形式。在高一的with复合结构讲解中会有相同的语法结题方式。

2. The girl saw a dog       on the road and was frightened.

A. lie      B. lies     C. lay      D. lying

答案D

解题思路方法一：现在分词做宾补--see sb doing sth,强调看到正在做某事。

解题方法二：动词非谓语与前面修饰的名词是主动关系，用非谓语V-ing形式。
